Meralco announces 2-day power interruption in parts of Tondo, Manila

The Manila Electric Company (Meralco) announced a two-day power interruption in some parts of Tondo, Manila, on June 16 and 17. Meralco said the power interruption is due to the reconstruction works along Jose Abad Santos Avenue in Tondo. The power interruption will start from 11:30 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. on Friday, June 16, and from 4 a.m. to 4:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 17, in the following areas:
* Portion of New Antipolo St. from Maria Guijon St. to Jose Abad Santos Avenue. * Portion of Old Antipolo St. from Jose Abad Santos Avenue to Oroquieta Road, including Tindalo Extension and Almeda Streets. * Portion of Tomas Mapua and Anacleto Streets from Old Antipolo St. to Herrera St., including Yuseco and Laguna streets. * Portion of Batangas St. from Makata St. to Rizal Avenue. * Portion of Rizal Avenue from Old Antipolo St. to Yuseco St. * Portion of Bagac St. from Santos Teodoro St. to Morong St. in Manuguit. * Portion of Jose Abad Santos Avenue from Morong St. to near New Antipolo St., including Mercury Drug and Ospital ng Tondo.
Meanwhile, parts of New Antipolo St. from Jose Abad Santos Avenue to Tindalo St. will experience an outage starting 11:30 p.m. on Friday to 4:30 a.m. on Saturday. (Richielyn Canlas)
