Mayweather wears Philippine flag-inspired boxing attire in latest exhibition vs Gotti

Floyd Mayweather Jr. paid tribute to his Filipina personal assistant Kitchie Laurico by wearing a Philippine flag-inspired boxing robe and shorts in an exhibition fight against John Gotti III at FLA Live Arena in Sunrise, Florida on Sunday, June 11.

Mayweather honored her longtime assistant and marketing manager in his latest exhibition match against Gotti, customizing his attire with the shades and symbols of the Philippine flag while the name "KITCHIE" was adorned at the back of his robe during his entrance. Lauricio, 47, passed away with an unconfirmed cause last March. She worked with the former five-division world champion for 10 years and was an important figure in "The Money Team." The Mayweather-Gotti clash was stopped after a massive brawl in the sixth round. Referee Kenny Bayless surprisingly waived off the fight and disqualified Gotti, causing the furious neophyte boxer to bolt around the ring which, in the process, triggered a chaos between the team staff and fans.
