Adamson homegrown JP Yude is set to take over the coaching role for the women’s volleyball team, the school announced on its official Facebook page on Tuesday, June 13.

This, following the departure of Jerry Yee from the school as he accepted another coaching gig with new Premier Volleyball League (PVL) team Farm Fresh Foxies last week.

“Congratulations to our very own, Coach John Philip Yude, the New Head Coach of Adamson University's Women's Volleyball Team! Laban Adamson!” they wrote.

Yude actually played for the Adamson Soaring Falcons in UAAP Season 80 and has since transitioned to a coaching role.

He will be inheriting a Lady Falcons squad that returned to the Final Four after a nine-year drought and finished third in the standings.

While Yee had success in his first stint with the Lady Falcons, Yude, for his part, led the Adamson girls’ volleyball team in the UAAP Season 85 juniors’ championship against the NU Nazareth School where it fell in the winner-take-all Game 3.
