Cops seize P680,000 'shabu' from woman in QC buy-bust
Quezon City Police District (QCPD) operatives confiscated P680,000 worth of suspected shabu and arrested a woman in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Sta. Monica, Quezon City early Tuesday morning, June 13.
Lt. Col. Jerry Castillo, QCPD Novaliches Station (PS 4) commander, identified the suspect as Clarissa Panganiban, 33, a resident of Barangay Sta. Monica.
PS 4 personnel, in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), carried out the buy-bust operation against the suspect in front of a fast food restaurant in Geronimo Compound at around 4:30 a.m.

Seized from the suspect were 100 grams of alleged shabu worth P680,000, a pouch, a cellphone, and the buy-bust money.
Panganiban will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Act of 2002 before the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office, the QCPD said.
Brig. Gen. Nicolas Torre III, QCPD director, lauded the PS 4 operatives for their continuous relentless drive against illegal drugs.
