3 persons arrested for shabu, illegal gambling in Taguig

Three persons were arrested by the police for illegal gambling and possession of suspected shabu in Taguig on June 12.  The operation was carried out by personnel from Taguig Police’s Intelligence Section on Marang Street in Barangay Katuparan.  The 3 arrested suspects and the evidence confiscated by the police (Photo from the Taguig police / SPD)
The police identified the arrested suspects as Yolliza Gatbonton, 32; Abegail Calaguing, 25; and Ranjel Layog, 31. Southern Police District chief Brig. Gen. Kirby John Kraft said the operating team recovered P422 in gambling money, a set of playing cards, and plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing 20.16 grams worth P137,088.  The police implemented the operation after receiving a report from an agent about the illegal gambling activity.
