PRO-3 marks Independence Day, vows continued honest service
CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – The Police Regional Office-3 (Central Luzon) on Independence Day vowed to continue serving the people to the best of its ability.
“Ipagpatuloy natin ang ating tapat na serbisyo upang supilin ang iligal na droga, kriminalidad, at katiwalian sa bansa (Let us continue our honest service in the campaign against illegal drugs, crime, and corruption in the country),” PRO-3 Director Police Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr. said in his June 12 message.
“Hangad ko na ang damdaming makabayan at malasakit sa kapwa at bayan ay mag-alab sa puso ng bawat pulis. Ating tuparin ang sinumpaang tungkulin na pagsilbihan at bantayan ang mamamayan. Pangalagaan ang karapatan ng bawat Pilipino upang malaya silang makapamuhay sa tahimik at maayos na pamayanan (I urge the police to have patriotism and concern for our countrymen. Let us fulfill our duty to serve our countrymen. Fight for the rights of our countrymen so they can live in a peaceful community,” Hidalgo added.
He appealed for public support and cooperation in preventing untoward incidents during Independence Day.
“We are once again appealing to the public to report any suspicious persons, activities, and unusual occurrences in the community to the nearest police station,” he said.

PRO-3 uniformed and non-uniformed personnel attended the event with the theme “Kalayaan. Kinabukasan. Kasaysayan" which culminated in the releasing of doves.
