Celebrating 20 years in showbusiness, Asia's Crystal Voice Sheryn Regis wants to be known as a lesbian lipstick: a slang term for a lesbian that shows a greater number of traditionally feminine gender attributes, like wearing make-up, dresses or skirts, and having other features associated with women.
During the media conference for her upcoming concert "All Out" held in Quezon City on June 12, Sheryn says she's happy flaunting her true identity. "I'm flaunting. I'm very open now kasi alam ko na nandyan ang support ng family ko. Pagminsan pala na muntik ka ng mamatay, you treasure the moment. Doon mo ma-feel na you have to treasure everything: Who's in front of you? Who's beside you? That's why I'm flaunting everything at na-express ko lahat ng nasa damdamin ko. I'm happy that I have a happy heart."

Sheryn's upcoming concert will kick off at the Music Museum in San Juan, Metro Manila on July 8. A week later, Sheryn will take her concert to the US and Canada.
While many may not know this, Sheryn fought thyroid cancer in 2016.
"This is another chance for me in life after I survived thyroid cancer. The show will be a story of my journey and the songs that we shared for 20 years.
Scientifically, what I'm doing is wrong but my faith is still there. This is a miracle of life," she says.
On her quality of voice after the surgery, Sheryn adds: "Actually parang tumaas nga siya eh.

Businesswoman Mel de Guia says she's been flattered about being Sheryn's partner for two years now.
"Flattered ako and at the same time, overwhelmed.
Kung may love, dapat andyan yung trust and respect."
Sheryn and Mel say they're not planning on marrying any time soon.
On her part, Sheryn adds: "Grabe ang support ni Mel sa akin dahil tinanggap niya ako kahit may anak ako."

Mel and Sheryn also say they don't plan on having a baby at this time.
Kung magkakaroon man kami ng anak why not? Blessing din yan eh. Pero dapat paghandaan. It's a lifetime commitment."
Sweety, who already came out as a member of the LGBTQ community, is the daughter of Sheryn and former partner Earl Echiverri.
