Korean musical actress Park Soo-ryun, who appeared in drama ‘Snowdrop,’ dies from fall 


Korean musical actress Park Soo-ryun died after falling down from the stairs on her way home on June 11. She was 29. 

Park Soo-ryun appeared in a minor role as a college student in the Korean drama “Snowdrop,” which aired from December 2021 to January 2022 starring actor Jung Hae-in and BLACKPINK’s Jisoo.

She donated in 2018 in the musical “il tenore.” She also starred in musicals and plays including “Finding Mr. Destiny,” “The Cellar,” “Othello” and “Pass By Love.” Her last musical was “The Life of Siddhartha” last March. 

Park Soo-ryun uploaded photos of the last day of their filming for “Snowdrop.” The post includes photos with Jung Hae-in and other cast members.

"Senior Jung Hae-in. The senior who stayed with us until the end. Even though it was a very small role, he thought of each and every female college student and thanked them! I hope to see you again,” she wrote. 

After her death, her family decided to donate her organs. Her wake is at the Gyeonggi Provincial Medical Center Suwon Hospital in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. 

The funeral will be held on June 13.
