Julia Barretto on maintaining friendly relations with an ex

Sorry Joshua Garcia. Julia Barretto is not keen on being friends with you. Well, she didn't say this exactly but Julia made clear in a recent interview she would rather stay away from an ex. Why? Well, she thinks it is going to be "a bit weird." The 26-year-old actress explained, "Kasi diba it would be like, 'paano kung naguusap kayo ganyan then mag-aya manood ng sine like, as a friend. Di ko yata kaya. Baka magkaabalikan pa kayo nun." She added,  "Parang in respect na lang din for the person you're currently with." So how far would she go in maintaining relations with an ex? "Not exactly friends pero civil somehow. Puwedeng maayos ang pakikitungo niyo sa isa't-isa. Puwede kayong magkamustahan. Pero I feel like when the relationship ended it must include the friendship." Julia is currently in a relationship with Gerald Anderson.  The couple went public with their relationship in 2021.  Julia’s relationship with Joshua Garcia ended in 2019.
