PLM graduates land in top 10 licensure exam for nurses

The Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) graduates placed in the top 10 of the Philippine Nurses Licensure Exam (PNLE) on Saturday, June 10.
According to the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), all of its 195 examinees passed the PNLE that took place last May.
Among the 15 top notchers from the 195 examinees were Miyu Krista Cuyson Miura who ranked third place with an average rating of 91 percent; Karl Russel Abuyo Acuña in fifth place with 90.60 percent; and Pamella Metocua Cordero in sixth place with 90.40 percent.
Meanwhile, four alumni, Dan Prescioso Cruz, Sharmaine Anne Enriquez, Alexandra Cathlene Pineda, and Micaella Umlas, all placed seventh with a shared average of 90.20 percent.
The other four alumni, Kyla Tolentino Abrencillo, Angelo Jose Molina, Jemiline Olboc, and Shee Ann May Pagasian, landed in eighth place with an average of 90 percent.
Jed Andrew Stephen Milag also brought pride to Manileños for placing in the top 9 with an average score of 89.90 percent, while Natasha Mae Jacinto, Mary Joy Diane Lim, and Angelika Ocampo ranked tenth with 89.60 percent.
PRC lauded PLM, giving it a 100 percent passing rate along with the distinction of being the best performer out of 497 nursing schools in the country.
PLM President Emmanuel Leyco also hailed the examinees, "Congratulations to this batch of Nursing graduates as well as the faculty and staff of the College of Nursing for this amazing feat! Thank you for demonstrating once again our commitment to high-quality education." (Richielyn Canlas)
