Letran and FEU will have to go through the eye of the needle once the 2023 FilOil EcoOil Preseason Cup playoffs kick off next week in San Juan.

The Knights and the Tamaraws will roll the red carpet to the final stretch of the collegiate wars when they take on the qualifying teams from Luzon and VisMin in the play-in tournament which will begin on Wednesday, June 12.
Letran faces up against Luzon qualifier Guang Ming College while FEU tangles against VisMin squad Jose Maria College in a two-game play-in series. In case of a 1-1 tie, the team that will advance to the next round will be determined through the aggregate scores.
The winner of the Letran-Guang Ming matchup will meet La Salle while the better team between FEU and Jose Maria College will challenge Perpetual in the quarterfinals on Friday, June 16.
Over at the other pairings, College of St. Benilde and National University also collide on Wednesday while University of the Philippines will lock horns against Lyceum in the other bracket for the other semis spot on Thursday.
The semifinal showdown is set on Monday, June 19 while the battle for third and the Finals is happening next Wednesday, June 21. (
