Pasig's indigent seniors to receive local senior pension on June 14-15

The Pasig City local government will be distributing the Local Senior Pension (LSP) for the second quarter of the year (April to June) on Wednesday, June 14, to Thursday, June 15. The LSP is given to indigent senior citizens, ages 65 and above, who do not receive any financial support from families, and have no other pensions registered in agencies such as the Social Security System (SSS) or Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) except for the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Social Pension. The manual distribution for the following barangays will be held at the Kaalinsabay Covered Court in Barangay Manggahan on June 14: Manggahan Proper, Greenpark, and NAPICO (9 a.m. to 12 noon); and Santolan, Dela Paz (12 noon to 3 p.m.). On June 14, the LSP payout for Barangays Sta. Lucia and Rosario will be from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, and 12 noon to 3 p.m. respectively at the Countryside Covered Court in Barangay Sta. Lucia. The distribution at the Stella Maris Covered Court in Barangay Maybunga will accommodate seniors on June 14 at Maybunga (9 a.m. to 12 noon), and Ugong and Caniogan (both from 12 noon to 3 p.m.). For June 15, senior citizens residing in Barangay Pinagbuhatan with surnames starting with A to G can get their LSPs from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, and those with surnames starting with H to Z from 12 noon to 3 p.m. at the Suarezville Covered Court. At the Catalina Covered Court in Barangay Palatiw, distribution will be held in the following areas on June 15: San Miguel, Palatiw, and Sta. Cruz (9 a.m. to 12 noon); San Nicolas, Sto. Tomas, and Sagad (12 noon to 3 p.m.). The payout at the Pasig City Mega Parking II (behind the city hall) in Barangay Nicolas on June 15 will be for the beneficiaries in Barangays Bambang, Malinao, and Kalawaan (9 a.m. to 12 noon); San Joaquin, Buting, Kapasigan, Sumilang, San Jose, Bagong Katipunan, and Sta. Rosa (12 noon to 3 p.m.). Lastly, seniors from Barangays Bagong Ilog and Pineda (9 a.m. to 12 noon); San Antonio, Oranbo, and Kapitolyo (12 noon to 3 p.m.) will receive their LSPs at the Pineda Covered Court, Barangay Hall, Barangay Pineda on June 15. The schedules mentioned are for LSP beneficiaries who do not have Benefit Cash Cards or ATM cards. For seniors who are ATM holders, the PIO said that they will announce separate instructions regarding their payout in the coming days. Seniors who were unable to get their LSP for the first quarter of the year (January to March) may be able to claim them during the aforementioned schedule of distribution for their barangays.
