Independence Day job fair in Baguio City offers 4,300 vacancies
BAGUIO CITY – Over 4,300 job vacancies will be offered by 53 participating establishments in the Kalayaan job fair
at SM City Baguio and Porta Vaga Mall here on Independence Day, June 12.
The job fair was launched by the Department of Labor and Employment-Cordillera, Baguio City Public Employment Services Office, and SM City in celebration of the 125th anniversary of Philippine Independence.
A total of 2,926 job vacancies will be offered by 21 local establishments at the Level 2 Sunset Terraces of SM City Baguio and 1,438 vacancies from 32 establishments at the Skyzone, Porta Vaga Mall from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Applicants will be given the opportunity to undergo face-to-face interview with most employers and be hired on the spot.
With the theme "Kalayaan 2023: Kalayan, Kinabukasan, Kasaysayan," numerous job vacancies, including SM Supermalls job opportunities, await jobseekers.

Applicants may also avail of services from different government agencies such as Pag-IBIG, Social Security System, PhilHealth, Technical Skills Education and Development Authority, DOLE, Department of Trade and Industry, and Philippine Statistics Authority.
Other activity for June 12 is child labor program entitled “Araw ng Kalayaan Para sa Batang Malaya” at Level 2 hallway area near the SM Appliance Center as part of DOLE’s commitment to support the global campaign against child labor.
