Clarita Carlos would rather be in this Batangas beach resort than in Maldives

Who needs the cottages on stilts in Maldives when this resort in Calatagan, Batangas has the same attraction? Former national security adviser Professor Clarita Carlos hyped up STILTS Beach Resort in a Facebook post Saturday morning, June 10. "Sadly, we little realize the beautiful beaches we have in our country which can compare if not BETTER the beaches elsewhere," she wrote. "So, why are we still going to the MALDIVES, when your cottages on stilts are NON PAREIL here in Batangas!" Carlos said. And the best part about choosing resorts in Batangas over those abroad? Why, the coffee of course. "Who can best Batangas BARAKO coffee! Mabuhay, Calatagan!!" added Carlos, who is currently House Speaker Martin Romualdez's chief policy adviser on security and defense concerns.
