42 Anakpawis members in Pampanga denounce NPA

LUBAO, Pampanga – Forty-two members of Anakpawis renounced their support to the New People’s Army in Barangay Santo Tomas, this town, on Saturday, June 10. Police Regional Office-3 Director Police Brig. Gen. Jose S. Hidalgo Jr. said that different law enforcement units facilitated the mass withdrawal of support of the 42 Anakpawis members. "I commend the operating units for a job well done, this also proves that there is really gradual decline of CTGs’ strength in the region,” Hidalgo said. Meanwhile, the PRO-3 arrested three top most wanted persons during separate manhunt operations in Central Luzon. Henry dela Cruz, the Top 1 Most Wanted Person in Bulacan, was nabbed for two counts of acts of lasciviousness and five counts of qualified rape with no bail recommended. Elena Valdez, top most wanted person in Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija, was apprehended in Barangay Valle Cruz, Cabanatuan for violation of Republic Act 9165. Roy Galvan, Top 1 Most Wanted Person in Camiling, Tarlac was arrested by virtue of alias warrant of arrest for murder.
