They were arrested by intel operatives of the Taguig Police along 7th St. in Barangay Katuparan, Taguig. According to the police, they received information from an agent that people were playing "cara y cruz" and one of them had a firearm. The police went to the area and arrested the three suspects and confiscated P370 in cash. They also seized a firearm loaded with three pieces of live ammunition from Descutido. Descutido, the police said, is an alleged member of the "Loloy drug and gun-for-hire group", which is responsible for the proliferation of illegal drugs and a series of shooting incidents in Taguig and nearby cities and provinces. Suspects will be charged for violation of Presidential Decree No. 1602 (prescribing stiffer penalties on illegal gambling). Descutido will also be charged for violation of Republic Act 10591 (illegal possession of firearms and ammunition). Major General Edgar Alan Okubo, chief of the National Capital Region Police Office, lauded Taguig police for the suspects' arrest.
