Iloilo is only among the very few cities in the Philippines that could really proudly say to have very rich heritage and very rich culture as actually seen from edifices from the monuments,” said MORE Power President and CEO Roel Castro. “I think where Iloilo is right now, is because over the decades of the heritage of the culture of the people. This is where Iloilo is right now, ” added Castro. Aside from refining heritage structures, MORE Power is supporting the city government in addressing challenges of rapid urban development and weather disturbances. “By eliminating above-ground power lines, we significantly reduce the risk of accidents caused by inclement weather, fallen trees, or other unforeseen circumstances,” said Mayor Jerry Treñas here. “The safety of our citizens is of paramount importance, and this project aligns with our commitment to ensuring a secure environment for all. Furthermore, this will maximize the beauty of our structures in Calle Real,” added Treñas. After Calle Real, plans are also underway for the different plazas and other key areas in this city.
