DOLE-Region 1 Director Exequiel Ronie A. Guzman said each of the four provinces in the region – Ilocos Sur and Norte, Pangasinan, and La Union – will have at least one job fair on June 12.
“This year, we have gone the extra mile and endeavored to conduct as many job fairs as we continue to provide access to jobseekers to full, decent, and productive employment,” said Guzman.
“We continue to leverage job fairs as they remain to be an effective tool on employment facilitation,” he added.
In Ilocos Norte, the job fair will be held at Robinsons Ilocos Expansion Activity Area in San Nicolas.
In Ilocos Sur, the venue will be the Candon Civic Center in Candon City.
In La Union, the Manna Mall, City of San Fernando.
Five venues will be in Pangasinan, the Don Leopoldo Sison Convention Center, Alaminos City; Nepo Mall, Dagupan City; SM Center, Dagupan City; CB Mall in Urdaneta City, and SM Rosales, day earlier on June 11.
