GAC Motor’s radically-styled SUV now has a new retail price in celebration of the brand’s 5th anniversary in the Philippines. Launched just last April at the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS), the Emkoo is an ultra-modern five-seater compact SUV. It boasts of future-forward design and cutting-edge technologies.
The overall design of the Emkoo is bold, captivating, and futuristic, inspired by Sci-Fi elements like sharp feature lines, angular edges and a dynamic stance.
The vehicle is equipped with various safety features, such as multiple airbags, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Hill Start Hold and Hill Descent controls, and a Tire Pressure Monitoring System to name a few. Powered by a 1.5 GDI turbo petrol engine, the Emkoo delivers 177-horsepower and 270-Nm of torque, paired with a quick-shifting, seven-speed wet dual clutch transmission. The turbo-charged engine efficiently delivers a mileage of 16.1 km/L, one of the lowest fuel consumption ratings among engines of the same displacement level.
The Emkoo is available in five colors: Star Lake Green, Snow White, Moonlight Grey, Superstar Silver and Elegant Black.
The new retail pricing for the GAC Emkoo is a gesture of gratitude to its valued customers in celebration of the brand’s fifth year in the country. The Emkoo will be P1,498,000 for the top-of-the-line GL variant and P1,298,000 for the GE variant. The new retail price will also apply to customers who reserved the EMKOO in April when it was launched at the 2023 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS).

Customers can view the Emkoo at GAC Motor dealers across the country. They will hold special Emkoo launches and test drives on the following dates: June 3, GAC Bacoor, Makati and Tarlac; June 10, GAC Cainta, E. Rodriguez, Pampanga and Quezon Avenue; June 16, GAC Davao; June 17, GAC Alabang, Manila Bay and Iloilo; and July 30, GAC Batangas City, Butuan, Cebu and Lipa City.
Within seven months since the brand’s relaunch in January, the company’s dealer network has been on hypergrowth, with the number of operational dealerships rapidly increasing from four to fifteen by end of July.
