Seventeen’s ‘FML’ album debuts at No. 2 on Billboard 200 


K-pop boy band Seventeen garnered their own highest ranking on the Billboard 200 chart with their new album “FML.” 

“FML,” the group’s 10th mini-album, debuted at No. 2 on Billboard 200 and No. 1 on Top Album Sales and World Albums charts, the fourth largest sales week in the US in 2023. Seventeen grabbed the No. 1 spot on the Artist 100 chart.

Seventeen’s No. 2 ranking on Billboard 200 came after they sold 3.99 million copies of “FML” on the first day of release based on Korea’s Hanteo Chart data. 

“FML” went on to sell 4.55 million copies in the first week of release, the highest selling album in K-pop history. It is Seventeen’s fifth consecutive album to enter the Billboard 200.

Your Choice (8th Mini Album) on No. 15 (chart dated July 3, 2021)

Attacca (9th Mini Album) on No. 13 (chart dated November 6, 2021)

Face the Sun (4th Album) on No. 7 (chart dated June 18, 2022)

SECTOR 17 (4th Album Repackage) on No. 4 (chart dated July 3, 2022)

FML (10th Mini Album) on No. 2 (chart dated May 13, 2023)

In addition, “FML” took the No. 1 spot on Japan’s Oricon weekly charts: album rankings, digital album rankings, and total album rankings. 

Seventeen also topped Billboard Japan’s Artist 100, Hot Albums, Download Albums and Top Album Sales.  

Last May 8, Seventeen released a new music video for “F*ck My Life,” one of the two main tracks of “FML.”
