Pavarotti Ristorante brings a piece of Italy to the Philippines
There's a new restaurant in Okada Manila that is serving authentic Italian eats with culture and heritage on the side.

Starting out as a food stall in Okada Manila, Pavarotti has gained a great following thanks to the authentic Italian dishes. After five years and battling the challenges of the pandemic, the food brand is now ready to welcome its patrons and anyone hungry for Italian cuisine to its restaurant.
Ralston Austin Dy, Olah Gray Padilla Brady, Jessie Vitor Maloles, and Marcoroberto Ascione
Led by Venetian artist Marcoroberto Ascione and Filipino businesswoman Olah Gray Padilla Brady, together with entrepreneurs Jessie Vitor Maloles and Ralston Austin Dy, Pavarotti Ristorante is the latest addition to the dazzling food scene in Okada Manila. While Italian restaurants are everywhere in Manila, what makes the food spot stand out is that it merges Italian culture and cuisine into one spectacular dining experience, literally bringing every element people love from the *bel paese* into one space. Located along the Fountain area of the premier hotel and casino, Pavorotti Ristorante offers many ways for foodies to enjoy its culinary creations. Diners can have a feast with a stunning view of the fountain and the restaurant’s facade. But to get the full Pavorotti Ristorante experience, we recommend dining indoors. After getting through the restaurant’s red doors, people will be transported to a romantic setup with moody lighting, a grand display of wine and other spirits, and masterpieces sourced from their art shop in Murano, Italy.

Diners can also get a glimpse of the kitchen, which is led by Italian consultant chef Gino Amodio. With his works at Aria Cucina Italiana in Boracay and Asmara in Cebu, one can expect nothing but a true Italian feast to come out of Pavarotti Ristorante’s kitchen.

During its launch, Manila Bulletin Lifestyle got a taste of what the restaurant has to offer. Our Italian food adventure began with its plate of crostini. It’s a celebration of textures and flavors as the fresh ripe tomatoes perfectly contrast the crunch of the toasted bread. Pizza is one of the champion dishes of the restaurant and we’re able to sample three of its best pans—pizza margherita, quattro formaggi, and pizza boscaiola. Call us a purist, but we definitely love the pizza margherita. As for the pasta, a plate of pesto and amatriciana made their way to our table. What diners should know is that the items on the menu of the restaurant come with a friendly price tag. Whole pizzas cost from P590 to P790, while the pasta dishes range from P400 for solo and P590 to P650 for sharing.

With its name hailed from the world-class opera singer Luciano Pavarotti, diners can also expect to be serenaded at the restaurant. From having in-house live music sessions to playing Luciano’s classic music performances, entertainment is always a guarantee at the restaurant during weekends. All in all, dining at Pavarotti is a true feast for all the senses. *To know more about the restaurant, visit @*[*pavarottiteatroristorante*](https://www.instagram.com/pavarottiteatroristorante/?igshid=NTc4MTIwNjQ2YQ%3D%3D&fbclid=IwAR14O_pi1HyxwlgnEM3OZTI3Ck7UuiQqUYMgwjWjCqiGn7I7tOOfrh-_KXw) *on Instagram.* *Hello, readers!
