Nora Aunor on younger stars: 'Dadaan-daanan ka na nga lang'

After almost six decades in the industry, National Artist Nora Aunor has seen and experienced it all. These include being ignored by younger stars. “Mabibilang mo lang yung mga artistang talagang may respeto," said she in Snooky Serna's vlog. "Ngayon kasi, yung mga kabataan, minsan dadaan-daanan ka na nga lang, e." Snooky couldn't agree more, relating: “May mga bagong artista ngayon na parang… (sana man lang) magpasintabi sa isang veteran. Much more an icon of the movie industry,” referring to Nora. “Ano ba naman yung bumati ka, di ba, gumanun (mag-bow) man lang kayo,” she added. Nora reiterated, “Hindi lang sa akin yon. Sa lahat ng mga artista na, ibig sabihin, na nauna sa kanila." “Respeto lang kasi. Importante sa atin yan, e. Magkaroon ng respeto sa kapwa. Kahit na nga di ka artista, kailangan mo pa rin magkaroon ng respeto sa kapwa," she stressed.
