Meanwhile, Tiangco also lauded and gave a P10,000 incentive to traffic enforcer Mark Ferdinand Luzuriaga.

Luzuriaga went viral on social media for apprehending a police officer from Manila Police District (MPD) who was driving a tricycle without a franchise along Along H. Lopez Blvd. last April 26.

The MPD police officer refused to be apprehended and reportedly hit and choked Luzuriaga.

The incident caused a commotion, which prompted Tiangco and NCPS chief Col. Allan Umipig to arrest the MPD officer.

“Their bravery and faithful performance of their duty are worthy of emulation. They serve as an inspiration to all public servants and a reminder to everyone that no one is above the law,” Tiangco expressed.
