According to Hanteo Chart, Aespa’s “My World” sold 1,372,929 copies on the first day of release.

This set a new record for the highest first-day album sales for a K-pop girl group based on Hanteo Chart's data.

“My World” topped Hanteo Chart’s daily physical album chart for May 1 followed by Seventeen’s “FML” with 102,593 copies sold; NewJeans’ “OMG,” 81,001; and Le Sserafim’s “Unforgiven,” 60,213.

Aespa's album erased the record set by girl group Le Sserafim last May 1 when their “Unforgiven” sold a total of 1,024,034 copies on the first day of release.

The album earlier garnered 1.8 million copies in pre-orders.

Aespa will be appearing at the Governors Ball festival in New York on June 10 and Outside Lands festival in San Francisco on Aug. 11, becoming the first K-pop group to appear at either festival.
