The Bulacan police arrested seven suspects for alarm and scandal, drug dealing, and illegal gambling during an anti-crime drive on Sunday, May 7.
In a report submitted to Col. Relly B. Arnedo, Bulacan police director, , the Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Team of the City of San Jose Del Monte (CSJDM) police arrested Bernald Prepose, 42, businessman, of Brgy. Kaypian, CSJDM at around 1 p.m. on May 7.
Prepose had received several complaints for indiscriminate firing in the village. Confiscated from him were a caliber 45 pistol; two magazines; four live rounds, and two fired cartridge cases.

Appropriate criminal complaints have been filed against Prepose.
Meanwhile, the Bulacan Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU) and Malolos City police conducted a drug buy-bust operation in Brgy. Canalate, City of Malolos, leading to the arrest of Rhaymart Guanzing, 24, with aliases of "Totoy and Utoy."Â
The authorities confiscated three grams of suspected shabu from him worth P20,400.
Operatives of Hagonoy police apprehended Raymundo Chico Jr. in Brgy. Carillo, Hagonoy, after a consummated drug trade.Â
Chico Jr. was found in possession of three sachets of suspected shabu.
The Malolos City police conducted an anti-illegal gambling operation in Brgy. San Gabriel wherein four individuals were caught engaging in illegal gambling "mahjong."Â
The police confiscated a set of mahjong tiles and bet money in different denominations.
