Tryout for 18-under Alona party-list team for PSL on Friday

LUCENA CITY, Quezon â€“ An open tryout will be held for the Alona party-list 18-under team for the Pilipinas Super League basketball tournament on Friday, May 12, at the Sariaya Sports Complex in Sariaya, Quezon.

Quezon Rep. David C. Suarez and wife Alona party-list Rep. Anna V. Suarez have called on basketball players from the second district composed of Lucena City, Sariaya, Candelaria, Tiaong, San Antonio, and Dolores to join the tryout. Rep. David said those interested may get on touch with coach Jonas Guiao and coach Ram Valid and submit the necessary requirements. Meanwhile, the last day of submission of lineup in the 18-under category and 21-under for the Suarez Super League will be on Friday. Suarez Super League games will be held at Tiaong Convention Center, Candelaria Municipal Gym, San Antonio Multi-purpose Stadium, and Sariaya Sports Complex.
