Ratings rise for episode 2 of K-fantasy action series 'Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938'

The Korean fantasy action series “Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938” rose in the ratings for its second episode.  “Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938” stars Lee Dong-wook, Kim So-yeon, Kim Bum and Ryu Kyung-soo. Its episode 2 aired on May 7 and according to polling firm Nielsen Korea, it received a rating of 7.129 percent nationwide, peaking at 8.3 percent, in South Korea based on paid platform subscription households (cable, IPTV and satellite), ranking first in the same time slot including cable and comprehensive channels. It was watched by 1.843 million people nationwide in South Korea.  This is higher than the 6.463 percent it got nationwide for episode 1 on May 6.  In the metropolitan area (Seoul, Gyeong-gi and Incheon) in South Korea, “Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938” episode 2 garnered a rating of 8.303 percent (peaking at 9.8 percent), higher compared to 7.4 percent for episode 1. It was watched by 1.017 million people.  Among the target viewers aged 20 to 49, “Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938” episode 2 rated 3.7 percent (peaking at 4.4 percent) in the metropolitan area, and 3.8 percent (peaking at 4.7 percent) nationwide in South Korea, ranking first in all channels including terrestrial.  Ratings for “Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938” based on Nielsen Korea data:
