ILOILO CITY – Police officers and units in Iloilo province were awarded for their accomplishments for the first quarter of 2023.

Iloilo Police Provincial Office (IPPO) Director Police Col. Ronald Palomo and Gov. Arthur “Toto” Defensor Jr. led the awarding ceremony for the Pagdayaw Awards. Individual awardees were Police Chief Master Sgt. Ammie Aguilar of the Dueñas Municipal Police Station (MPS), Best in Administration; Police Master Sgt. Philip Adrias, Carles MPS, Best in Intelligence; Police Corporal Michel Diño, Estancia MPS, Best in Operations; Police Chief Master Sgt. Joebert Casabuena, Pavia MPS, Best in Logistics; Police Master Sgt. Stephanie Jamoyot, Pavia MPS, Best in Police Community Relations (PCR); Police Senior Master Sgt. Ricky Paypon, Cabatuan MPS, Best in Finance; Police Staff Sgt. John Marvie Nomus, San Dionisio MPS, Best in Investigation; Police Staff Sgt. Julet Sumagpao, Passi City PS, Best Women and Children’s Protection Desk (WCPD); and Police Corporal Ruel Dogomeo of Passi City PS, Best in Learning and Doctrine Development. The IPPO also awarded the Top 3 best performing units. They were the Estancia MPS headed by Police Capt. Arniel Buraga; Carles MPS led by Police Major Robert Jayson Pancha, second; and Tigbauan MPS, headed by Police Capt. Mary Jane Panes, third. The IPPO also awarded 15 units for outstanding performance in different categories.
