7 wanted men arrested in Pasay police 'Oplan Galugad' operations
Seven wanted persons were arrested during the series of ‘Oplan Galugad’ operations conducted by members of the Warrant and Subpoena Section (WSS) on Friday, May 5.
Col. Froilan Uy, city police chief, identified the suspects as Raymond Jaramil, 41; Judy Magcalayo,48; Benito Contillo Go, 33; Richard Linamas,40; Jomart Go,31; Jericho Serrano, 32 and Rodolfo Lao-a Pulma, 20.
Uy said Jaramil, who is facing complaints for violation of C.O. No. 2106 (illegal barker), was arrested at around 3:00 p.m. along Pasadena Street, Barangay 77, Pasay City.
Jaramil was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Kirk Aninon, of the Pasay City Metropolitan Trial Court (MTC) Branch 44 on March 21, 2015 with bail recommended at P2,000.
Magcalayo was nabbed at around 3:00 p.m. along B. Mayor Street, Malibay, Pasay City.
Uy said Magcalayo, who is facing rape and sexual assault charges, was issued an arrest warrant by Judge Erwin Yumul Dimacyac of Roxas Mindoro Oriental, RTC Branch 43 on October 24, 2022 with no bail recommended.
Another wanted person, Contillo Go, who is charged for violations of the Dangerous Drug Act of 2022, was arrested at around 4:00 p.m. in Barangay 54, Pasay City.
The suspect was arrested by virtue of an arrest warrant issued by Judge Petronilo Sulla, Jr, of Pasay RTC Branch 110 on April 11, 2023 with a bail recommended at P200,000.
Linamas was arrested at around 4:00 p.m. along Pasadena St., Barangay 77, Pasay City for perjury charges.
The warrant of arrest was issued against Linamas on November 22, 2001 by Judge Lilia Lopez,of Pasay RTC Branch 109 with a P6,000 bail recommended.
Go was arrested at around 4:30 p.m. along Emma St., near Ludys Factory, Pasay City for illegal possession of drugs.
The warrant of arrest was issued to Go by Judge Edilwasif Tapsif Tapsiril Baddiri, of Pasay RTC Branch 115 on April 13, 2023 with a recommended bail of P200,000.
Serrano, who is facing charges for serious physical injury, was arrested at around 5:30 a.m. in the vicinity of Brgy. 191, Pasay City.
He was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Jose Janello Cobarrubias of Pasay MTC Branch 47 on April 18,2023 with a bail recommended at P20,000.
Lao-a Pulma was also arrested at around 5:30 p.m. along Muñoz Street Riverside Brgy. 43, Pasay City for illegal possession of drugs.
The warrant of arrest was issued against the suspect by Judge Danilo Leyva of Manila RTC Branch 175 on April 11, 2023 with no bail recommended.
