PRO-13 launches 'Sine-Pulisya' featuring movies promoting good values to children
CAMP RAFAEL C. RODRIGUEZ, Butuan City – The Police Regional Office-13 on Thursday, May 4, launched the “Sine-Pulisya ng PNP Caraga” program in this camp that seeks to promote good values to children through movies.

Eighty wards of the Lingap Kalinga Center here and dependents of police officers enjoyed the films shown on the PRO13-LED billboard that nurture and strengthen family ties, friendship, and self-esteem to children. “Nasiyahan ang ating mga kabataan (The kids enjoyed) and this will be held regularly now, every first Thursday of the month,” PRO-13 Director Police Brig. Gen. Pablo G. Labra II said. “The majority of children’s movies contain a message in a tone appropriate for kids,” Labra said. “We ensure that our movies have an underlying message conveyed in a way easy for kids to understand and relate to,” he said. “This, in turn, helps them learn values and lessons in life.” The Regional Community Affairs Development Division-13 facilitated the launching of the activity in line with “DADDI,” a program thrust of Labra that gives premium on children’s rights and welfare and police-community partnership. Labra, the PRO-13 command group and directorial staff, chiefs of the national support units, other unit commanders and officers, and media practitioners graced the launching.
