Some parts of the cities of Caloocan, Valenzuela, and Quezon will experience water service interruption from May 8 to 14, the Maynilad Water Services, Inc. announced on Saturday, May 6.
Maynilad said the scheduled water service interruption is due to several network maintenance activities.
In Caloocan City, the maintenance activities will be held from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. on the said dates.
Barangays 12, 14, 34, and 169 will be affected by the maintenance activities on Quirino Highway, Patnubay, Susano Road, Tanigue (east)/Dagat-dagatan, Tambakan, and at the corner of Kapakan and Salay-Salay Alleys starting at 11 p.m. on May 8, until 4 a.m. on May 9.
Areas in Barangays 28, 31, 35, 112,12,123,124 will also have no water on May 9-10. The maintenance activities will be held in Dagat Dagatan Exit/ C3, 9th and Quezon Streets.
Network maintenance activities along Salay-salay Alley, Milagrosa, Malolos Avenue, Progreso, Pangako, Cabatuan, Pag-asa, and Zabarte Road on May 10-11 will also cause water outage in Barangays 12, 130, 131, San Jose, 151, 154,155, 172, 174,175,177, 178.
Barangays 99 and 100 will also be affected on May 11 and 12, while Barangays 59, 63 will have no water from May 12-13, due to maintenance activities on Dorotea Street and 10th Avenue.
In Quezon City, water interruption in Barangays San Bartolome, Kaligayahan, San Agustin, Bagbag, Nagkaisang-Nayon, Sauyo, and Talipapa will occur on May 8 to 9 (10 p.m. to 6 a.m.).
Maynilad will be conducting service improvement activities along Quirino Highway connecting to Rainbow Homes, Patnubay, and Susano Roads.
On May 9 and 10, customers in Barangay Lourdes,Talayan, will also have no water from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. as Maynilad will be conducting network maintenance along the roads of G. Araneta, Don Ramon, and Del Monte.
Water interruption in Barangays Maharlika, N.S. Amoranto, Apolonio Samson, Katipunan, and Kaligayahan will be experienced on May 10 to 11 (10 p.m. to 6 a.m.).
Meanwhile, Barangays Manresa and San Jose will also be affected by the maintenance activities on May 12 to 13 (10 p.m. to 6 a.m.), while water service interruption in Barangay Del Monte will occur from May 13 to 14 (same time).
Barangay Ugong in Valenzuela City will also have water outage from May 8-9, starting at 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Maynilad encouraged its customers to store enough water for the duration of the service interruption while water tankers will be deployed to deliver water to the affected areas.
