Manila Mayor Lacuna celebrates birthday with seniors, children

Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna marked her special day by sharing the occasion with senior citizens and children in the city who were also celebrating their birthdays on Saturday, May 6. The event, held at the San Andres Sports Complex, honored the senior citizens who celebrated their birthdays with the mayor on May 6. A total of 299 senior citizens received birthday cakes, vitamins, and other gifts from the city executive.

* Lacuna also held a party for children who celebrated their birthdays in the month of May at the Manila Zoo. The party featured games and entertainments, including a magic show and circus performances to entertain the kids. All the 143 children in attendance were likewise provided with gifts, meals and snacks. The chief executive also provided gifts, roasted chicken and 10 kilograms of rice to the residents of Barangays 525 and 616 on May 5, where she had lived in the past and currently resides. These gifts were given to some 1,190 residents.
