Marcos assures support for health workers

Marcos said this as the Philippines celebrated National Health Workers Day on May 7. In a tweet, Marcos recognized the selflessness of health workers and expressed that the country was proud of them. He added that his administration is always ready to support them. "Isang pagpupugay sa lahat ng ating mga health worker na walang sawang naglilingkod sa kabila ng pagsubok na dala ng Covid-19 (I pay tribute to all our health workers who tirelessly serve despite the challenges brought by Covid-19)," Marcos said. "Labis namin kayong ipinagmamalaki kaya naman asahan ninyong handa ang inyong pamahalaan na suportahan kayo (We are truly proud of you that's why you can expect that the government is ready to support you)," he added.
