The Barangay Ginebra import and naturalized Gilas player will join Kings’ teammate Christian Standhardinger in the lineup along with San Miguel Beer’s CJ Perez, Marcio Lassiter and Chris Ross who will serve as the team’s captain for the biennial meet.

Joining them are Meralco’s Chris Newsome, NLEX’s Brandon Ganuelas Rosser, TNT’s Calvin Oftana and NLEX’s Arvin Tolentino, and collegiate standouts Michael Phillips of De La Salle, Jerom Lastimosa of Adamson and Mason Amos of Ateneo.

Bolts’ Aaron Black and Green Archers’ Ben Phillips will be the team’s reserves after also joining the 14-man pool that flew to Phnom Penh Saturday night.

Jeremiah Gray, despite participating in the team’s week-long closed door training camp at the Inspire Sports Academy, couldn’t join the team due to a nagging knee injury.

Gilas Pilipinas is opening its bid for redemption against Malaysia in a duel that will also serve as curtain raiser to the highly anticipated 5-on-5 men’s basketball event on May 9.

The Nationals will then take on host Cambodia two days later on May 13 before they wrap up their Group A assignments against Singapore on May 15 at the Morodok Techo National Stadium in Phnom Penh.
