Another dead infant found in Negros city

BACOLOD CITY – Another dead infant was found on Saturday, May 6, this time under a bridge in Hacienda Malisbog 2, Barangay E. Lopez, Silay City, Negros Occidental.

The baby, who was already in an advanced state of decomposition, was wrapped in an eco-bag and placed in a box, according to the police. The incident was the third in a span of three days, although one of them was found alive. On May 5, Friday, a dead newborn baby girl was also found in a dumpsite in Barangay Hilamonan, Kabankalan City. On that same day, a newborn baby boy was found in a sugarcane plantation in Barangay Poblacion 2, Sagay City. The baby boy was alive and was immediately brought to a hospital for medical examination.
