The second day activity of “Chikiting Ligtas” immunization drive was held at the Old Barangay San Dionisio gym. Olivarez said the launching of “Chikiting Ligats” on Tuesday, May 2, was held in Barangay San Antonio, wherein a total of 80 children received the immunization shot. The mayor urged parents to bring their children aged zero to 10 years old to their nearby vaccination site for them to receive their oral polio vaccines or OPV, while children aged nine to 59 months old will be given vaccines against measles and rubella (Measles-Rubella or MR). Aside from vaccination sites, parents or guardians can also visit barangay health centers and three malls namely SM City BF, SM City Sucat and Ayala Malls Manila Bay to get the vaccines.
