CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna – Police seized suspected shabu worth P1 million and apprehended four drug pushers in separate anti-illegal drug operations in Calamba City and Siniloan town, Laguna, on Wednesday, May 3.
Police Regional Office 4-A Director Police Brig. Gen. Carlito Gaces identified the suspects as Abdul Jalil Darang, Omelya Baute, Apollo Agpangan, and Reymond Catalan.
Darang, Baute, and Agpangan were listed as high-value individuals while Catalan is a street-level individual.
Police arrested Darang and Baute in Lake View Subdivision, Barangay Halang, Calamba City. Confiscated from them were 110 grams of shabu in two separate plastic sachets weighing 55 grams each with a total estimated street value of P748,000.
Agpangan and Catalan were nabbed after they sold shabu to poseur-buyers in the public cemetery in Barangay Kapatalan, Siniloan.
Suspects yielded 50.4 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P340,000, shabu paraphernalia, a cellular phone, and marked money.
Confiscated shabu weighed a total of 160.4 grams and with a total amount of P1,088,000.
Suspects are in the custody of apprehending police stations and face drug-related cases.
