Wanted illegal recruiter in Nueva Ecija arrested in Pasay City
A male kitchen helper wanted by the police for syndicated illegal recruitment in Nueva Ecija was arrested by members of the Pasay police Warrant and Subpoena Section (WSS) during a manhunt operation on Tuesday, May 30.
The Southern Police District (SPD) said the suspect, identified as Harvin Angeles, 26, was arrested at around 2:00 p.m. along Pasadena St., Pasay City.
Col. Froilan Uy, city police chief, reported that members of the WSS conducted a manhunt operation against wanted persons, leading to the arrest of Angeles tagged as the station level top one wanted person.
Uy said the suspect was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Mildred S. Villaroman Hernal, of Gapan, Nueva Ecija Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 35 without bail recommended.
The city police chief said Angeles was detained at the Pasay custodial facility after his arrest.
