University of the Cordilleras grad tops Licensure Exams for Certified Public Accountants
With an 89.50 percent rating, Alexander Salvador Centino Bandiola Jr. from the University of the Cordilleras topped the 2,239 out of 7,376 examinees who had a successful assessment result in the Licensure Examination for Certified Public Accountants, as the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced.

The assessment took place this May, conducted in examination facilities of National Capital Region (NCR), Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga. The examination was facilitated by the Board of Accountancy headed by Noe G. Quiñanola (chairman) and Samuel B. Padilla (Vice Chairman), together with other members, Gloria T. Baysa, Thelma S. Ciudadano, Gervacio I. Piator, and Maria Teresita Z. Dimaculangan. Meanwhile, the University of the Philippines (UP) ranked one among all Universities with a passing percentage of 92.22 percent, where 55 out of 59 of their examiners succeeded. *(Sonny Daanoy)*
