It ain't over 'til it's over for "Eat Bulaga." Shortly after Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey De Leon announced that "Eat Bulaga" would be leaving TAPE, Inc., De Leon posted a message on his Instagram account to reassure their fans that they aren't going anywhere. "We’re not signing off … we are just taking a day off!" wrote De Leon on Instagram on May 31.

Out of all the hosts on "Bulaga," only De Leon and Maine Mendoza took the time to post an individual statement on social media. Mendoza wrote: "Hanggang sa muli, dabarkads. maraming salamat, @eatbulaga1979." Various celebrities have expressed their views on the recent happenings related to Eat Bulaga, the longest-running noontime program in the country.
