Alden Richards is unbothered with persistent whispers concerning his gender identity. Apparently, he is used to it already. "Mag-twe-12 years na po, hindi namatay ‘yan eh,” he told Ogie Diaz in a recent interview. But why not put an end to it once and for all by declaring to all and sundry his actual gender identity? Alden sees no need. He said, “Kilala ko po ang sarili ko, kilala po ako nu’ng mga tao sa paligid ko...wala naman po akong kailangan patunayan sa part na ‘yon."   Did he ever think of getting into a relationship with a girl, any girl, if only to silence naysayers? Alden replied, "Ayoko naman po na para tumahimik ‘yung issue na ‘yun, is gagamit ako ng ibang tao... kawawa naman ‘yung tao. Hindi po ako gan’un.” As to those eagerly spreading malicious rumors about him, he said, "Okay lang, tuloy lang nila. Sanay naman na po ako d’yan. Pero ako, to myself, alam ko kung saan ako papunta…" And that is to have a family at 35. "Nasa plano ko po ang magkapamilya,” he said. “’Yung mga babies po, gustong gusto ko magkaro’n talaga, sobra.”
