Family centricity is a core value among Filipinos.
With this in mind, HSBC Philippines has introduced personalized financial services that aim to help customers and their chosen families achieve their goals.
Over the last three years, the pandemic amplified the value of a family as people lost loved ones or were forced to stay away, and this was confirmed by the insights received from customers. The team behind HSBC Premier ensures they are there to support not just the individual goals but, more important, their family goals, dreams, and aspirations.
Held at Shangri-La Fort, the party welcomed guests with cocktail hour d’oeuvres and drinks.  The tree installations represented how far HSBC could help customers grow their wealth within the Philippines and beyond.  Parallel to that, it also showed branching out of members, bringing in more members to the HSBC Premier family. VALUED PARTNERS Gilen Kamila Arellano, HSBC Wealth relationship manager; Annabella Wisniewski, owner of Raintree Group of restaurants; and Crissy Asuncion, HSBC Wealth sales Peter Faulhaber, head of wealth and personal banking at HSBC Philippines, personally ushered in the guests. “We recognize that every family is unique, so we are committed to giving our customers diverse ways to help them build a more solid foundation for their family’s future,” he said. Portraits of different families came alive through lights and sound display on the LED screens across the room, and showed how HSBC Premier allows customers to share their Premier privileges to their families. First is the expansion on the definition of one’s chosen partner, whether official spouse or chosen partner, through the HSBC Partner Account. Second is dedicated to the family who raised them—their parents, through the HSBC Premier Parent Account.  Third is the expansion to the family that one committed to raise, whether their own children, but also their nephews or nieces aged 18 to 28 years old, helping the next generation in their own journey to financial independence, through the HSBC NextGen account.  Last is the one that stands for everyone who leads a family, parents or single parents, sharing their benefits to their children aged 17 years old and below, through the HSBC Premier Junior Pack Account. EACH DAY WITH YOU IS PARADISE Guests were serenaded by the music of the Concert King Martin Nievera, who sang his classic hits “We are proud to provide an extended eligibility to our Premier client’s chosen family. This is an ode to the Filipino culture of supporting extended family members and our acknowledgement of everyone’s definition of a family as it continues to evolve today,” said Faulhaber. HSBC Philippines has also introduced the Member Get Member Program, which allows HSBC Premier customers to share the HSBC Premier experience and refer their friends and loved ones to enjoy the same rewards. One can also become a Premier customer by presenting valid income proof and crediting one’s monthly salary of at least ₱300,000 gross (or its foreign currency equivalent) into the HSBC account to qualify and maintain his/her Premier status.
