PRO-2 RPIO inaugurates broadcast hub

CAMP Marcelo Adduru, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan – The Regional Public Information Office (RPIO) of the Police Regional Office-2 recently inaugurated a broadcast hub at the Police Commissioned Officers’ Clubhouse here. Police Major Gen. Ronaldo Olay, Philippine National Police Director for Logistics and a former Cagayan provincial police chief, led the inauguration and blessing. The broadcast hub was constructed in line with the facility development program of the PNP funded under the approved program of expenditure of the PNP trust receipt amounting to P955,313. This is the first broadcast hub built in all offices and units of the PNP nationwide with the objective of empowering its viewers through the dissemination of correct, relevant, and up-to-date information. The RPIO vowed to bring relevant information through its various programs that air at the PRO-2 Facebook page and other local media stations. The broadcast hub started operating on May 12.
