Mayor Eric Olivarez assists passport applicants
The Parañaque City government conducted a one-day Passport on Wheels at SM City BF Parañaque on Monday, May 29. The Passport on Wheels is a project of Mayor Eric Olivarez and his brother, Rep. Edwin Olivarez, in coordination with the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA). Olivarez said more than 300 individuals visited the SM City  to apply for and have their passports renewed. Olivarez said the project  aims to bring closer to the people the services of the city government. The mayor said  while he was still serving as Congressman of the city from 2013 to 2022, he was one of the proponents of House Bill No. 8513. The mayor said that under the bill, the validity of the passport was extended to 10 years.
