Kapuso actor Paolo Contis finally gave his reaction to the engagement of his former partner actress LJ Reyes to her non-showbiz boyfriend Philip Evangelista last Tuesday. "Of course, I'm very happy for her. She deserves to be happy," Paolo texted to GMA Network entertainment broadcaster Nelson Canlas in a report on "24 Oras" on Tuesday, May 30. Hours before LJ announced her engagement, Paolo initially said he had no comment on her engagement, as reported by another veteran entertainment journalist Jojo Gabinete in an article on PEP.ph on May 30. Later, Paolo finally gave his reaction to the upcoming wedding of his former partner. Friends and supporters were happy for LJ who is now based in the US. They wished LJ all the best in the new chapter of her life.
