It seems that LJ Reyes has found her happy place, after revealing photos of her engagement with her non-showbiz boyfriend Philip Evangelista. In a series of photos on her Instagram, LJ is seen beaming with pure happiness and shedding a tear as Philip gets down on his knee and asks the big question. '“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah‬ ‭29‬:‭11‬ ‭NLT‬‬'' LJ wrote in her caption.

After her highly publicized separation from her six-year partner and Summer's father, actor Paolo Contis, she relocated abroad. Aki is Lj's son with her ex-boyfriend Paulo Avelino. Days after Lj's interview in late 2021, Paolo acknowledged in a long Instagram post that a third party was involved while also clearing his co-star Yen Santos of any wrongdoing. Following the actress’ post, several netizens including celebrities quickly including Marian Rivera, Gary Valenciano, Iza Calzado, and Cristine Reyes congratulated Lj on this new milestone.
