Jerom Lastimosa looks to bring Adamson to UAAP finals after Gilas stint
Taking lessons from his recent Gilas Pilipinas stint, Jerom Lastimosa is eyeing to bring Adamson to the UAAP finals in his final year with the team.
The Collegiate Press Corps 2022-2023 Mythical Member is coming off a successful run with the Gilas “Redeem Team” in the 32nd Southeast Asian Games, where it reclaimed the gold medal against host nation and heavy favorites Cambodia.

The 24-year-old combo guard is looking at a similar success for the Falcons once the UAAP basketball season rolls along.
“Expect a lot para sa Adamson. Talagang papasok kami una sa Final Four muna, and then doon sa finals,” Lastimosa said.
Lastimosa decided to give it one last shot in his collegiate career and stayed with the Falcons for his final year.
This after bringing Adamson to the Final Four after four years at the expense of De La Salle Green Archers in their one-game playoff where Lastimosa did some heavy lifting for the team before falling to eventual champions Ateneo Blue Eagles in the semifinals.
“Siguro ‘yong mga experiences ko sa coaches, teammates madadala ko this coming season. Like those little things na paano dedepensa ng maayos, those things can really help me pagdating sa UAAP,” said Lastimosa.
Lastimosa answered to the call of national duties as some players weren’t available for the role including Ginebra guard Scottie Thompson.
The 5-foot-10 veteran, though, isn’t seeing action for Adamson in the preseason tournament but remains optimistic that a winning system will be built into the team come the next season.
