Heat rout Celtics to book NBA Finals showdown with Denver

BOSTON (AFP) -- Miami Heat advanced to the NBA Finals by routing Boston 103-84 and denying the Celtics a historic comeback from down 3-0 in the series on Monday, May 29 at TD Garden.

"This group has shown fortitude when there are inevitable let-downs and failures, but had that perseverance to pick yourself up, that collective spirit to keep on forging ahead." We failed, but it's not because the guys didn't have a sense of togetherness and character."
