Two-year-old boy drowns in water well in Negros

BACOLOD CITY – A two-year-old boy died after he fell into a water well in Hacienda Ledesma, Barangay Matab-ang, Talisay City, Negros Occidental on Monday, May 1. The name of the minor victim was withheld.

(Photo courtesy of Talisay City Police Station) According to the police, the victim was with his 25-year-old mother who paid a visit to their grandmother. However, the mother failed to check her son as she was reportedly busy with her cellular phone. After a while, she noticed that her son was missing. She started to search for her son whom she found to have drowned inside the well. The victim was taken to a hospital but was declared dead.
