Operatives from Caloocan City Police Station (CCPS) confiscated a total of P460,000 worth of alleged shabu and marijuana from a man and a woman in separate anti-illegal drugs operations in the city on Wednesday, May 3.
Col. Ruben Lacuesta, CCPS chief, identified the suspects as Asliah Sambitory, 39, a resident of Zambales; and James Christian Gani, 22, of Camarin Caloocan City.

Sambitory was arrested by members of CCPS Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) in a buy-bust operation conducted at around 1:10 a.m. on Wednesday on Sta Rita Street in Barangay 188, Caloocan.
She yielded 50 grams of suspected shabu worth P340,000, the buy-bust money, and a brown envelope.
The SDEU also nabbed Gani in Brgy. 175, Camarin, Caloocan City at around 12:30 a.m. after receiving a report from a concerned citizen about his illegal drug activities in the area.
Police said that during their operation, they saw the suspect having an alleged illegal drug trade with another man.
Gani and the unidentified man ran when they noticed the law enforcers which led to a brief chase.
The suspect yielded a red paper bag containing a kilogram of alleged marijuana valued at P120,000.
Authorities are hunting down the suspect’s cohort.
Gani and Sambitory will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
